Poem Emptiness

beyond place concept

"highest" level

refreshingly refreshing

already there breath

no mind, no brain

wind is blowing

jump out of the plane

die, just that simple

brilliant flash of emptiness occurred

no-one to say

Some Thoughts

let your thoughts be like paintings on a beautiful canvas.

the canvas is the only thing that is truly real
let your thoughts soak into and permeate the canvas
there is no real duality here

the dark and the light
both must be addressed
enlightenment and shadow
the attic and the basement

so many just want to be in the light and ignore the dark
a unipolar (vs non-dual) view of the world.
people mistaken unipolar for non-dual
all of us have splits between our attic and our basement it's just a matter of degree

to look and see for oneself, not from any past perspective.
not from anothers perspective.
To just look now.
catch the flies in your eyes before you go blind to them

scomotisation (the creation of blind spots) has become the rule not the exception.
most people feel they can go around hell instead of through it.
to go around hell you must anesthetize.
once you do that you go blind in that part of your existence.
the gentle anesthetizing of spiritual bypassing has also become the rule.

Sleep Deprivation, Feeling Deprivation and Being Deprivation

Most of us suffer from sleep deprivation, feeling deprivation and being deprivation. If you don’t give adequate time and attention to sleep, feel and be, down to your core, you never get a chance to “thaw out”, wake up from your trance, and fully actualize yourself.

In our society, in my view, we tend to under-pathologize. This is because we all have a tendency not to put a person in a box or pigeonhole them; to classify or categorize them. We also do not want to hurt their feelings. (The cultural creatives which represent about 25% of our society are especially reticent in judging people as having pathology because of their desire to be egalitarian and sensitive.) In our attempt to avoid over-pathologizing we under-pathologize.

I believe the actual situation is that throughout history, dysfunction and pathology has been passed down from one generation to the next in a process that Wilhelm Reich called “The Emotional Plague”. This plague is so rampant in our society that it has created a baseline that most people experience as “normal”.

Thoughts on Non-duality

The here and now is the ultimate ground. Out of that ground comes creativity. Out of that ground comes phenomena. There is nothing that arises that is not a phenomenon. Can you see what arises from the state of not knowing? Most people can't. If you can truly see what arises from that place then nothing that arises has any known properties. There is only “resonance”. For there to be any properties that we're aware of, there has to be an observer and an interpretation. Form and content are actually just another version of unqualifiable emptiness. When we jump into content and lose sight of the actual phenomenon arising we become hypnotized by the content and treat it as if it was a real thing. We perform mental operations that can cause us to lose sight of the here and now. Most of us spend our time in this illusory world of interpretation, being trapped by content and losing sight of the true essence of everything that arises. We forget that even the “experience” of length, width, color, depth, movement are only interpretations of what arises. We forget that interior, exterior, one and many are only interpretations of what arises. They are not the actual phenomena, unless they are seen from the place of not knowing. Is it possible to jump into content without completely losing sight of its unqualifiable phenomenology? If we are unable to do this we become "content" junkies and exclusively live in the world of continual mental operations. We can talk about "integral" for centuries and end up where we started. If we can hold both into one we are non-dual.

What Doesn't Change,...

What doesn't change, we tend to go blind to. What we are blind to we continue to ignore. What we must do is bring our attention back around to the whole area of that which we ignore, only then can we begin to heal ourselves by penetrating the ignorance.
